| I spent some time in Brooklyn last week, and the ever-charming Carly Monardo took me to the Brooklyn Museum to check out the Keith Haring exhibition. It was the perfect retrospective experience for me, as I'd gone in knowing almost nothing about him except for the huge volume of merchandise upon which his work is reproduced, but came out with an appreciation of the meticulous geometry (but remarkable spontaneity!) of his work. |
