| Shamefully (as an exiled Maritimer) I've only been to Newfoundland once, eight years ago. I was on tour for a literary magazine I was working on at the time, and spent a few days in St John's, sitting lonely in a hostel and wandering around Signal Hill. I stumbled across these photos from that trip, and it's made me sharply want to go back there in a better frame of mind, and to get out of the city and see the wildness of the countryside. |
