I reblogged this Gary Shteyngart quote yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about it:

We know summer is the height of being alive. We don’t believe in God or the prospect of an afterlife mostly, so we know that we’re only given eighty summers or so per lifetime, and each one has to be better than the last… Otherwise, how would you know that you have lived your summertime best? What if you missed out on some morsel of shaded nirvana?

A soft wind is coming in the window, and I'm off to the park before it starts raining again. (quote comes from the NPR tumblr, which is excellent, BTW)

We have 2 new shirts!

You know what's even better than a t-shirt for a band nobody else has heard of? A t-shirt for a book about child murder that nobody else has heard of! You can also read the entire book online, here.

Live and learn, or die and teach by example. There's not a lot else that needs to be said.
