Border Town lives! After our successful exhibition in Detroit back in September, we are getting the old gang back together (with the help of ThingTank) to host a Design Jam at the beginning of March. It's gonna be a one-day project based on our summer's worth of research. If you sign up you'll be placed in a group with other great people, we'll give you a border-related challenge night on Friday, and you and your group will work to produce a solution by Saturday evening. I wrote the gayest book you will ever read. It's called The Complete Lockpick Pornography, and it is two books about dealing with homophobia and violence in two very different ways. In We All Got it Coming, the main character approaches it trying not to give in to anger, trying to understand his attacker. In Lockpick Pornography, the main characters approach homophobia the other way. The other way essentially being genderqueer terrorism. I hope you like it!
