My undergrad alma mater's Journalism program has put an investigative report on immigrants funding businesses in PEI (where I'm from!). It's a really complicated, interesting story, the basics of which are: under a former immigration policy, prospective immigrants offered $200,000 to local businesses. They were supposed to be actively involved in those businesses (and so, settle in PEI) but as it happened, in many of these cases the new immigrants never met their business 'partners', and their investments were not returned. Well worth a look, and nice job, King's journalists!

I wrote the gayest book you will ever read. It's called The Complete Lockpick Pornography, and it is two books about dealing with homophobia and violence in two very different ways. In We All Got it Coming, the main character approaches it trying not to give in to anger, trying to understand his attacker. In Lockpick Pornography, the main characters approach homophobia the other way. The other way essentially being genderqueer terrorism. I hope you like it!
